Artist Statement
She Rises explores the strength and resilience of Black women on their journey to wellness and self-discovery. This collection highlights the unique challenges and victories Black women face as they nurture their physical, emotional, and spiritual health in a world that often overlooks them.
 
Each piece reflects the perseverance of Black women, showing how they rise above obstacles, reclaim their identities, and find empowerment. My goal is to spark a conversation about the wellness of Black women, encouraging them to embrace their own unique paths and healing journeys.
 
She Rises is a celebration of transformation, resilience, and the power of Black women rising into their fullest selves.
